Private Party & Rehearsal Dinner Inquiries
The dining room, summer deck, and/or bar area can be partially reserved or completely bought-out for private parties throughout the year. During the summer months there is a courtyard available for large groups with a bocce ball court, which can be covered if desired. (Please go to "Media" to see photos of our facilities.) Our chef will work with you closely to decide on menu options. The normal a la carte menu is always present for selection or a special 3 to 5 course price fixe dinner can be created for your special occasion. Chosen wines off of our list can be added on to the price fixe choice (corkage of wine brought in is $20 per 750ml) and a host or no host bar will be discussed prior to your event as well. The cost of the price fixe option differs depending on your specific preferences and requests, as we want your experience to be as unique as possible and beyond your expectations. A motivated, healthy chef will make for an exciting evening of delicious food. Chef Douglas Dale loves a good challenge and is stimulated by inspiring new elements, new techniques, and unconventional combinations of food. He takes pride in the art of transformation as he transforms simple food into cuisine and meals into memories. This is your chance to join Chef Dale on an exceptionally appetizing journey for a special evening with your friends. It is as simple as making a reservation requesting a 'Chef's Table' of 6 or more guests on a Wednesday-Saturday night (limited to one per night). If you have any specific requests or allergies please let the hostess know upon booking. On the night of your personal 'Chef's Table', Chef Dale and your server will work with you very closely to make your experience unique and help with the pairings of drinks and/or wine. The pricing per person will differ depending on the chosen direction of food and number of courses, and wine is sold separately. Farmers Market Workshops
During the summertime come experience Tahoe City's Thursday morning Farmers Market Wolfdale's style. Meet Chef Douglas Dale at Wolfdale's at 9 AM and shop with him at the local Farmers Market. Pick the freshest ingredients and head back to Wolfdale's to prepare a four-course luncheon. Enjoy preparations paired with a sampling of wines and a special guest, ranging from a farmer, author, bartender, or nutritionist. It's very educational and fun! Class size limited. Summer Bocce Ball League
Join Wolfdale's Bocce Ball League! Every Thursday night in July and August, meet with your team in the Wolfdale's courtyard to battle another team at bocce. The league consists of 10 teams and lasts for 8 weeks with the last week being playoffs. Each team plays for about 45 minutes every week and must have at least 4 players. The entry fee for the entire season is $150 per team and you receive an appetizer platter each week. There is BP's 'Bocce Bar' with wine, beer, limited cocktails (we will quickly learn what your team likes to drink), and a limited dinner menu. The 1st place winner of the playoffs will win a prize of a $100 Wolfdale's gift certificate.
